Send your boy or girl for free to Paul Acheson Summer sports weeks for the weeks of the 16^th and 23^rd July 2012!

Dear Parents,

This summer Northern Island is once again running our successful Buddy programme, bringing Spanish children between the ages of 11 and 15 years old to Northern Ireland.

This year we are offering this programme specifically for the weeks of the 16^th and 23rd July 2012 at Sullivan Upper.

The programme concept is that non-native English speakers can integrate into local life, live with a host family and attend a local summer camp with the son or daughter of the host family.

This is a highly successful and enjoyable way for local children to make Spanish friends and for the international students to practise their English with a boy or girl of a similar age.

The children will stay with local families and attend the Paul Acheson summer camps during the week. Weekends are spent with the local family participating in normal family life.

Northern Island staff will also be supervising the stay and available 24/7 throughout.

We are now looking for families interested in hosting a student for this two week period or for either one of the two weeks.

This would involve providing full board accommodation for the duration- with a packed lunch on weekdays or pocket money for the famous barbeque which is offered daily at camp

In return, we offer a place – free of charge – for your own child to attend the summer camp with your international student. [1]

(1)  Free places only at sports camp and art/drama/sports camp.  Child minding facility must be paid by parents if required.
